It was a beautiful day! |
This was the first lecture given inside of the Dighton Rock Museum and organized by the new Board of Directors of the Friends of the Dighton Rock Museum, Inc.
Mrs.
Diane Ennis was the Volunteer of the day for this Sunday, April 11, 2010, from
1PM to 3PM,
attending to the visitors and by giving them information about
the Museum. She did a very nice job.
It was very pleasant day and my wife and I went to the Museum, and we had a delightful afternoon. Besides seeing there many friends, we also enjoyed very much the historical presentation by the Historian June Moskal concerning the very beginnings of village of Berkley, and the formation of the Berkley Congregation Church in 1737. I asked Ms. June Moskal to write her presentation so I can place it here on this website for many people to read it and appreciate.
