Man's Orgasm

Orgasm comes from the Greek word which means “the highest point” or climax. Climax is another Greek word which means “the top of the ladder” or the peak of the mountain.
Medicine defines orgasm as a general neuromuscular reaction. The electricity of the entire nervous system and all the muscles of the body are concentrated in one short period of time to create the climax. Just because a man has sexual organs does not mean that he will be a successful lover.

We will compare the orgasm with climbing a mountain. (Diagram)
First phase — The erection is the first ascent or phase of excitement. It begins when all the five special senses transmit the electricity of love to the sexual centers. Then, these centers communicate, electrically, through the electric spinal cable to the nipples and the genital organs. The spongy tissue of the penis is engorged with blood and the penis becomes hard and erect.
During this first phase the heart begins to beat faster, the arterial pressure goes up and the respiration rate increases from 16 to more than 20 per minute. Further, the scrotum contracts and the testicles pull up against the inguinal regions.
This first phase (erection) is controlled by the sympathetic system (accelerator) through the first six lumbar nerves: Li, L2, and L3, which are responsible for the penile erection.
Second phase — of sexual intercourse is called plateau. This phase is very important because it gives the man an opportunity to enjoy the panorama. It is in this phase that we can distinguish men with a capital M from those with a small m. During this phase man has the responsibility of maintaining and prolonging erection. At this time the rational sexual center must dominate the non-rational sexual center to prevent premature ejaculation. The sacral sexual nerves 2nd, 3rd and 4th (parasympathetic) are the nerves responsible for maintaining the erection long enough for mutual sexual satisfaction.

Third phase — The orgasm itself is the final sprint to the peak of the mountain. In this phase the electricity of love reaches its peak of intensity, radiating from the genital organs to the sexual centers and then to all the muscles. It is at this moment that strong contractions take place in the prostate, vas deferens (ampola) and urethra producing the ejaculation. In this lightning moment, man achieves his highest sexual pleasure, the climax or orgasm. All this will last only three seconds!!! And well the orgasm lasts only a short three seconds, otherwise such an intense electric storm would burn out our fuses! During orgasm the respiration rate can reach more than 40 per minute. The heart can reach 160 beats per minute. And arterial blood pressure rises so high that it would endanger life if the orgasm lasted more than three seconds.
Fourth phase — The descent from the mountain when all the erect zones, especially the penis, begin losing erection and return to a flaccid state.
Fifth phase — In this phase there is a well deserved rest and fulfillment. At this time the male often turn his back to the woman too soon. During this phase of satisfaction he cannot immediately begin climbing the mountain again. If the man is young, this intermission may last 30-60 minutes, but as he grows older, he will need several hours or days. But in compensation a mature, confident man can better satisfy the sexual needs of a woman.
Man cannot fake sexual performance. It is all or nothing! A man can have only one orgasm at a time, but a woman can reach peaks of 40; 60- and 100-watt orgasms, as we will learn in our next chapter.
