Here is a magnificent panoramic photo of the Dartmouth Teachers at the "Lagoa do Fogo" or Fire Lake, which was the mouth of a live volcano two thousand years ago. The Governmental Authorities do not permit any modern constructions anywhere near this lake to maintain it in its original natural state. Roberto Medeiros is the one on the extreme left with a folder on his right hand. |
Roberto Medeiros has been the best and most pragmatic AMBASSADOR of the Azorean cultures and its people, especially for the youth. He is a very modest, but is also a very firm, gentle and determinant individual to bring the people of the Azores, the Americans and the Canadians to know each other better. This is a wonderful endeavor. Congratulations to him for his inspiring work.
