I
already have
one hundred and one answers!
May 11 2002
On my quest to find an Epigraphist of the XV and XVI century to confirm the diagnosis of the original inscriptions of Dighton Rock, I have received up to now (May 10, 2002) one hundred and one -- 101- letters and e-mails from American Universities, from the State of Maine to the State of Hawaii, from archaeological institutions, and also from Canada, England, Germany, Holland and Portugal – ALL informing me that they DO NOT HAVE any such epigraphist in their staff!
I want to thank very much the cooperation and the openness of the answers of all these specialists.
I am glad they all understood the sincerity of my quest, that I want to find out the truth, the scientific truth. Science has no frontiers, no boundaries! I understand that very well because being a medical doctor I have to be a scientist!
I am going to Portugal to give a series of lectures and certainly while there I will research directly if indeed in Portugal there exists any XV and XVI epigraphist that could come to America and exam the inscriptions, face to face, of Dighton Rock.
You can be sure that I will give you a report when I return!
