Al Robitaille, an excellent photographer and also a Representative of the Rhode Island Retreads Motorcycle Club, sent me these four new photos, taken at sunset,   of the Portuguese Discoveries Monument at the Brenton Point State Park,  in Newport.

Arthur Raposo,  from Middletown, also a member of the RI Motorcycle Club,  was the originator of the idea for this Portuguese Discovery Monument. Take a look at these photos  and then take your family to see this fascinating monument. It  is the most beautiful place in the State of Rhode Island!
