Pope John Paul II and the discovery of America

Pope John Paul II at the window of the 3rd floor above St. Peter's Square delivering his annual Message of Peace, at midnight, on December 31, 1999
During the last solemn "Te Deum" in the St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican, of the year 1999, Pope John Paul II declared that for him the discovery of America was the principal achievement of the last millennium!
Here are the Pope's words: "We must be thankful to God for the Millennium that is ending. We should ask ourselves which event marked the most of the Millennium that is ending. What was the geographic knowledge of the European countries one thousand years ago, and their social achievements? Who knew of the existence of another large continent on the west part of the Atlantic?"
The Pope asked himself, but he gave the answer:"The discovery of America, which opened a new epoch of the History of Mankind, was, without any doubt, the most important element in the balance of the past Millennium".
But the Pope did not mention on his sermon by name the discoverer of America! Why not? He should have gone first to his own Library in the Vatican to find out the true name of the navigator who made the crossing of the Atlantic to Antilles in 1492!
Yes, Pope John Paul II should have visited the Vatican Library and verify that the name of the discoverer of America is written on the Papal Bulls edited by Pope Alexander VI, in 1493, and the name that appears on the Bulls is the ancient Portuguese name --> Cristofõm Colon.

Library of the Vatican. "Charity begins at home!". Pope John Paul II should go into his own Library of the Vatican and analyze the Papal Bulls published by Pope Alexander VI, in 1493. He did not do his homework!
Pope John Paul II should visit the Vatican Library and verify that the name that is written on the Papal Bulls edited by Pope Alexander VI, in 1493, is a Portuguese name à Cristofõm Colon.
Yes, the Pope should do, as my wife and I did, when we visited Rome in 1994. We went to verify -- to discover for the first time in the world! -- in the Library of the Vatican, that Pope Alexander VI ordered to be published in 1493, four Papal Bulls concerning the discovery of America!
These 4 Papal Bulls were written in Latin and were addressed to the Spanish Kings: Don Fernando and Dona Isabella.
Only the first two Papal Bulls mention the navigator's name.

The First Bull of May 3, 1493
In Latin …'dilectum
filium Crhistofom Colon cum naviggies '…In English ..
'my dearest son Crhistofom Colon with ships'…
The First Papal Bull dated of May 3rd, 1493, on line eleventh, of the second page, shows the navigator's name in the archaic Portuguese form à Crhistofom Colon.

Second Papal Bull of May 4th,
1493
Cristofõm Colon is very clearly seen.
Only those who do not want to see it are blind!
The Second Papal Bull, dated of May 4th, 1493, on the line thirty first of the first page, shows the Portuguese name à Cristofõm Colon.
We should note that the texts of all four Papal Bulls were written in Latin. We could expect the name to be in Latin à Christopher Columbus, but it is not. We could expect the name to appear in Italian because the Papal Bulls were published in Rome à Cristoforo Colombo, but it is not. Or then in Spanish à Cristobal Colon, because the Papal Bull were addressed to the Spanish kings, but it is not.
The name that appears on the Papal Bulls is the archaic form of the Portuguese name à Cristofõm Colon which is the origin of Cristovão Colon, the modern Portuguese. We should note that in the Second Bull the name Cristofõm Colon does not have 'h', but has a tilde on 'õ'. I do not know any other language in the world that uses a tilde on the top of 'õ' except the Portuguese language.
The so called professors and historians become infuriated with me because my wife and I have made these original discoveries without much effort. We do not want them to yell at us! If they want to refute these true historical facts, they should preach to Pope Alexander VI, and leave us in peace, so we can continue to have free time to make more original discoveries.
I would like to know who was the jackass, or the big s. o. b. , who transfixed or brain washed, transposing the original version in Latin of Cristofõm Colon into Christopher Columbus! He must be already burning in hell for centuries!
Columbus or Colombo is a false name! Colombo means "pigeon" and the great navigator was never a 'small pigeon!'…
No body has the right to transpose the Navigator's name into another name. His true name, as it appears on two Papal Bulls, is Cristofõm Colon.
