The
dynasties of Avis and of the House of Bragança
The famous Portuguese
patriarchal Y chromosome
July 28 2005

King
Dom Pedro I, the eighth king of Portugal, governed from 1357 to 1367, during ten
years. He was the son of King Dom Afonso IV and Dona Brites and was born in
The love affairs of King Dom
Pedro I
When
Dom Pedro was young he had a love affair with a lady from

The love affairs of King João
I
Even
before he became King, João I had love affairs with a lady from Alentejo
called Inês Pires, daughter of Barbarão and she gave birth to a boy who was
named Afonso. King João I governed
King
João I protected this bastard son,
even legitimized him as his son before
he became king. King João I also name this Afonso Count of Barcelos, and
arranged his marriage with
Beatriz Pereira Alvim, the daughter of Nuno Álvares Pereira (Hero of the
Aljubarrota Battle), who was the largest land owner in country at that time, and
gave them the title of Dukes of the House of Bragança.
I
am given these detailed explanations
of these illegal
love affairs for us to understand that
the Y chromosome of King Dom Pedro I, was passed on to his bastard son who later
became King João I and the Y chromosome of this king was passed on to Dom
Afonso who became the First Duke of the House of Bragança.
Now
we should exam the sequence of all the males in the Dynasty of Avis, and also
all the males of the Dynasty of the House of Bragança.
The
male sequence of the Dynasty of Avis
King
João I married Dona Filipa de Lencaster of the House of England and they had
the following sons, and they all had the same Y chromosome.
Dom Duarte who became the next King
Dom Henrique – Prince Henry who became the Administrator of the Order of Christ.
Dom Fernando – who became the Master of the Order of Avis
Dom
João – who
became the Master of the Order of
Dom
Pedro – Duke of
King Dom Duarte had the following sons:
Dom Afonso V who
became king after him.
Dom
Fernando – who
became the First Duke of Beja. This Duke of Beja is ACCUSED
of getting pregnant a young lady from
the Royal Court by the name Isabel Gonsalves Zarco, daughter of João
Gonsalves Zarco, the famous discover
of the Island of Porto Santo (1418)
and the Island of Madeira (1419).
Of
this love affair between Fernando and Isabel, was born a boy to whom was given
the name
This First Duke of Beja married Dona Beatriz and they had the following sons:
Dom Manuel who became king by the name of Dom Manuel I.
Dom
João - Second Duke of Beja
and Duke of Viseu
Dom Diogo – Third Duke of Beja and Duke of Viseu
Equally
all other males of the Dynasty of Avis, such as King João II, and King João
III all possessed the same Y chromosome
We should recall again that Dom Fernando, First Duke of Beja – the ACCUSED -- was a biological brother of King Dom Manuel I.
And
if the Y chromosomes NEVER change in various generations, ALL the descendents of
King João I had to possess the same Y chromosome which started with King Dom
Pedro I.

The tomb of the First Duke of the House of in the Church of São Francisco in
the City of Bragança.
First Duke of Bragança – Dom Afonso I
Second Duke – Dom Fernando
Third – Dom Fernando II
Fourth – Dom Jaime
Fifth – Dom Teodósio
Sixth - Dom João I
Seventh –
Dom Teodósio II
Eighth – Dom João after became King Dom João IV
Nineth -
Dom Teodósio
Tenth – Dom Afonso VI, Became King
Eleventh – Dom João V, Became King
Twelfth – Dom José I, became King
Thirteenth – Rainha Dona Maria
I.
This
Queen married her uncle Dom Pedro II, who was the brother of
King Dom José and they had one son who became the
fourteenth Duke of Bragança with
the name of Dom Jose Francisco Xavier.
Fifteenth
– Dom João VI became King
Sixteenth
– Dom Pedro IV became King
Seventeenth
– Dom Miguel I became King
Eighteenth
– Dona Maria II married her uncle Dom Miguel, but they had no children. In
her second marriage,
she married Dom Fernando of Saxe-Coburgo –Gotta House and they had a
son called Dom Pedro. With this marriage the Y chromosome typical of the House of
Bragança was LOST! How did
the House of Bragança RESTORE its
own Y chromosome?
Nineteenth - Dom Pedro V, became king
Twentieth
– Dom
Carlos I, became King
Twenty first –
Dom Luís Filipe de Bragança
Twenty
second – Dom Miguel
de Bragança (Miguel II ), son of Dom
Miguel I and of
Twenty
third – Dom
Twenty
fourth – Dom
Therefore, if the Y chromosome NEVER changes, the
male Dukes of the House of Bragança
as described above, must have all
the same Y chromosome including the
actual Dom
The
tombs of all the males of the Dynasty of Avis and of the House of Bragança have
been all localized for the Professor
Francisco Corte Real and his scientific team to start their investigations of
DNA in the old bones, so they later
can make the comparative analysis
with Y chromosome in the direct descendents of Cristóvão Colon in
Spain.
In
the next article we will show the genetic sequence of the Dukes of Verágua who
are all descendents of the Don Diogo Colon Moniz,
(in Spain the last name is the mother’s) who became
the first Duke of Verágua, in Madrid, Spain and who was the legitimate
son of Cristóvão Colon and Beatriz Moniz, of the Island of Porto Santo,
in the archipelago of Madeira, Portugal.
If our historical
analysis is correct, the Dukes of
Verágua must have the same Y chromosome as the males of the Dynasty of Avis, of
the House of Bragança and of King Dom Pedro
I of
If the ACCUSED, Dom
Fernando, First Duke of Beja, was
indeed the biological father of Christopher Columbus or Cristóvão Colon or
Salvador Fernandes Zarco, it is for Professor Corte Real and his
scientific team to make the
DNA diagnosis which will become the
undeniable historical proof! Only
with the unique method of the DNA can the real proof
be demonstrated scientifically.
In the following article we will describe:
The
Dynasty of the Dukes of Verágua.
