Where is it located?

The Library-Museum Dr. Manuel Luciano da Silva is located  in the North of Continental Portugal, 60 kilometers (45 miles) southeast of the City of Porto or Oporto.

Follow Auto-Estrada A1 or the main highway connecting Lisbon to Oporto. Get off on the exit Vila da Feira, follow the signs to Vale de Cambra (12 kilometers)  and  continue on  route to Sever de Vouga,  and about 3 miles, cut to the left into  the village of Cavião and the Library Museum should be on the right after a thousand feet.

The distance from Lisbon to Cavião  is 300 kilometers (187 miles).

The Library-Museum has a magnificent panorama of the valley and also as far as into  the Atlantic Ocean! What a gorgeous sunset, looking towards America!

My village Cavião has a latitude of 40 degrees North.
